Merlin 3D doesn’t operate out of a hobbyist’s bedroom. We run a dedicated, high-speed print farm in the heart of Carmarthen, utilizing industrial-grade hardware and the same mechanical discipline I’ve used for fifteen years hauling heavy loads and operating HIAB cranes.
When we say an artifact is “forged,” we mean it is manufactured with a deep understanding of material science, layer adhesion, and structural physics. Whether you are commissioning a multi-coloured articulated mascot for your desk or a reinforced PETG bracket to keep your workshop from collapsing, the machines below are calibrated to turn your digital blueprints into physical reality.

The Multi-Material Vanguard
Our flagship manufacturing unit is the Flashforge AD5X, equipped with the IFS Multi-colour system.
- The Magic: We can physically weld up to 4 different colours into a single, seamless print. No paint, no fading—just permanent, solid polymer contrast.
- Precision: High-speed, high-temp extrusion that maintains tight tolerances for mechanical parts and intricate desk toys alike.
The Fleet (Adventurer 5M & 5M Pro)
When the workload scales, we deploy the high-speed Adventurer 5M units. This is the backbone of our print farm.
- Speed: These machines are optimized for rapid deployment. If you need 50 brackets by Tuesday, this is where they are forged.
- Consistency: Industrial-grade vibration compensation means the first print looks exactly like the 100th.
The Heavy Lifter (Coming May 2026)
The Forge is expanding. We have commissioned the Flashforge Creator 5 for heavy-duty industrial operations.
- Massive Build Volume: For when the standard build plate isn’t enough. We will soon be able to manufacture large-scale structural components in a single piece.
- Advanced Materials: This unit is built to handle engineering-grade polymers that would melt a standard hobbyist printer.
